The Final Five at the 2016 Rio Games

Throughout my gymnastics career I have had multiple people I have looked up to. Just to name a few would be my older sister, Ally Raisman, Simone Biles, and Shawn Johnson. No one is ever perfect and you will see that in the video that Shawn Johnson posted. She talks about one of the many obsticales she has had to over come in gymanstics.

Another amazing gymnast I wanted to talk about is Ally Raisman. She is one of the older gymnasts who have stuck with the sport for so long. In her last olypmics she was 22 years old. Most gymnasts stop after they turn 17 or 18. She continues to amaze the nation not only for her age but also her difficult floor routine. Below is a video break down of her first tumbling pass on floor.

One very hard thing to do in gymnastics is to stop doing it for a while. It takes so much time and mental strenght to gain back everything you have lost over the period of time you were not doing it. In this video below olympic gold medalist Simone Biles talks about her road to getting back into the gym after taking sometime off to enjoy herself after the 2016 Rio Olypmic Games. Like any other gymnast Simone also runs into some difficult situations that she has to overcome.
